Assignment #1: Paper Plane Design
Students will use the links and worksheet provided below for a preliminary exposure to working with 3D Design. The purpose is to learn how different design elements effect product design outcomes. The objective is to build 3 distinct paper airplanes from the templates provided in the linked websites, make measurable observations, adjust and/or modify the designs based on those measures, in order to achieve better flight results.
Reflection- I made 3 paper planes by following design templates. I used paper, staples, and paper clips to make and modify my planes. I think I did OK on this assignment. I had never made a paper plane before, so my planes weren’t the best. But I did try my best, so I did well on that regard.
