Object Prototype – Ring
Students created basic object prototypes on the 123d design app on their iPads. They were required to use primitives (basic shapes) and kits (more complex, already made shapes and parts).
Reflection- We made basic object prototypes on 123d design app on our iPads. I used the eye 2 from the robot kit to make the stand thing for the “pearl”. I used a sphere and a torus (primitives) to make the rest. I colored it golden and white. I thought that it was very different from 123d Sculpt+ because you are using more normal shapes and building not molding and shaping. I am excited to work with all of the different tools on this program on the computer.
