Assignment #2: Play w/Adobe Illustrator

Using adobe Illustrator, students will practice using eight following tools to get to gain a basic understanding of AI – Layers, text, type on a path, shapes, stroke, gradient, symbols, clipping mask & swirl tools. Once they have demonstrated that they can use the tools they are to save the document as a .jpg and upload to their ePortfolio on the Adobe Illustrator page.

Reflection-

For this assignment, I took it upon myself to really try and compose something nice because I am an Adobe Illustrator “Pro.” I used fall as my theme because it is that time of year, and I love fall! There are so many great things about fall!!! I used a lot of tools in Adobe Illustrator like the shape tool, type on a path tool, symbols, and gradient. I am pretty proud of how this turned out, and when I look at it my first thought is definitely fall.
