Photo Manipulation

Assignment #6:  6/11 Projects – Photo Manipulation

Students will use the knowledge they’ve gained from our introduction to Photoshop to create six of the eleven projects from a list of projects. Projects include: Disproportionate Photograph, Where am I?, Untruthful Photograph, Repetition, Photo Collage, Surrealism, Who’s in school?, Art Additions, Scale, Distorted Portrait and Transform an Image.

Any more that students do will be extra credit.

WHERE_AM_I

Where Am I? For this picture, I put myself on a computer keyboard, one place I have never seen a person.

Disproportionate

Disproportionate Photograph: I put myself on a tennis court with an unnaturally large tennis ball coming at me.

Who's_In_School

Who’s In School? In this picture, SpongeBob, Patrick and I are bursting through the doors of Cal Young ready for another school day.

Disorted Portrait

Distorted Portrait: This is a portrait of my friend Kaitlin. I messed with it in photoshop by stretching the face and making it have an odd waxy-glow.

Photo_Collage

Photo Collage: I made a photo collage about summer vacation because it is almost that time of year!

Untruthful

Untruthful: I got a picture of clouds and added a unicorn sliding down a rainbow. I also added me!

Reflection: I picked 6/11 options to do for Photo Manipulation. I used my iPad to take pictures of me and used Photoshop to create my finished pictures. I got most of my pictures from the internet though. I think I did pretty well on this assignment. I tried to be creative with my work. I thought this was a fun project!
