Assignment #6: Choose one of the following tutorials

Using ONE of the Adobe Illustrator tutorials, create a 3D Design of your own. Try to render your object to the best of your ability. You are being graded on effort only at this point of the class. Pay attention to scale and perspective as this will help your object look more realistic. Feel free to make the item you choose any color you like and don’t forget the background.

Reflection- For my AI tutorial, I went to one of the links on Miss Leslie’s website and chose the golden vector compass tutorial. (Link: https://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-golden-vector-compass-in-illustrator–vector-3174 ) I learned how to use some new tools and tricks like the rotate and copy under transform which allowed me to create all the tiny marks around the edge without hand making all of them myself. I also used the gradient mesh tool and used the vector pen tool for more things also. I was surprised that the only thing I had to do to make the edge was just stack gradient circles. I thought this was a really cool tutorial and I learned a lot more about Adobe Illustrator.
