Butterfly

  • Description-Students will export, their final “Real Life Creature”, from their iPads via their student 4J email accounts. These files will then be downloaded to their files1 server account. Students will Import the .OBJ file of their “Creature” design to the Meshmixer application on laptops, use the Meshmixer tools to do final design tweaks on their design, then send their file to the 3D printer.

  5. Reflection- This we I created a butterfly using 123D Skulpt+. This an app on my iPad. I started with the simple capsule and started pushing and pulling it around. You can continue a creation or you could create a new one.  After you came up with something you liked you baked it. After you baked it you can add indents. I added indentations on the head to look like eye sockets. Also you could pull out. This is a new app and I’m really exited to see all the future programs we use in this amazing class.
