PSA#2 (Solo/Team Project) – Students build on their first PSA experience to make a Public Service Announcement using stills and video footage.  Students brainstorm topic ideas as a class to pick topics for their PSAs. Students work solo or in teams of 2-4 students. Students must develop the PSA with detailed documentation as follows, from start to finish. Content will be researched using a variety of proven sources, and images and video will be collected from various online and offline sources, and locations.

Reflection: In this assignment, I had to create a PSA on a topic that I thought was important.  I chose gambling addiction.  First, I made my elevator speech where I explained my ideas.  After that, I made a script to show what I would do during my PSA.  I thought this would be a good PSA to film since I was going to Nevada, and there they have a lot of casinos.  I filmed the outside of the casino, a person walking into a casino, someone being sad about their choices, and someone getting help.  I took these videos on my phone.  After that, I uploaded them on to the computer and put them into iMovie.  After that, I edited them a little and did a voiceover.  Next, I took it into Vimeo.  After that, I had six people watch my PSA, and had them give me suggestions.  I then took those suggestions and edited my PSA to get my final PSA.
