Description – Students pick a topic of their choice – preferably one they are passionate about, and can find enough supporting facts, evidence through research with online library resources and other web resources, research their topic and take notes using MS Word, learn how to make proper citations for a bibliography using MS Word, and write a minimum of 3 paragraphs (5-7 sentences each) using standard reporting formatting per specifications taught and modeled in class.
Reflection – In Tech Lit we had to pick a topic of our choice and make a research paper on the topic. I chose Coco Chanel. We first had to go to Easy Bib to do research. Sam, the librarian, came into the class to teach us how to use Easy Bib. We did bibliography on Easy Bib, we also created notes, paraphrased, and made an outline. Then we started typing. After that I peer- edited and now I just have to print a final copy and staple it to my notes, and rough draft. I think I did a good job on this paper.
