Video Camera Angle Exercise
Students learn to use the video camera to demonstrate an understanding of various techniques. They use the Shots and Angles handout to reference 5 video camera filming techniques, then compile the footage in iMovie to show their work. Movies are uploaded to Vimeo and then presented on their ePortfolios. This exercise is completed while working on the PSA #1 Assignment
Reflection: This project was very fun. I really liked how we had to make it an actual story this time. We had to actually think abut what we were going to do instead of just finishing it in one day. It allowed me, Michael and Oliver to be creative. I learned a lot about angles and how to film them through this project. Now I think I am ready to make a PSA with videos instead of just pictures. I am very excited to make a PSA with my friends for the next assignment.
