Reflection:Students will explore different software applications for creating a simple 3D prototype design. As a class we will brainstorm ideas for replicating and/or customizing designs for common simple objects that are used to solve routine problems. Examples might include is designing a tool to fasten materials together (wrench, hammer, screw driver), lego type building blocks, etc.
Description: First, made a square that fit a charger head because it has to go around it. Then, I looked at a model and tried to replicate it the best I could. Lastly, I made some customizations like the pentagons on the side and the triangle to rest my phone on. When I printed the holder it printed with supports so it is very uneven beaus I couldn’t het all of the supports off. Now I am doing a more complex project and it will be fun.
