Guacamole Recipe

Guacamole (Makes 3 cups)

Ingredients:
- 4 ripe Haas avocados
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 lemon)
- 8 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 cup small-diced red onion (1 small onion)
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 medium tomato, seeded, and small-diced
Tools Needed:
- Bowl
- Chef’s Knife
- Spoon
Cooking Instructions:
- Cut avocados in half. Scoop out insides with a spoon and place in a bowl:
- Add 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. You can use fresh a lemon juice.
- Add 8 dashes of Tabasco Sauce.
- Add half a cup of diced onion. See dicing video for how to dice an onion.
- Mince a clove of garlic.
- Add a teaspoon of Salt and Ground Pepper.
- Mix everything together in the bowl with your spoon.
- Use your chef’s knife to slice through the avocados until they are finely diced.
- Add a tomato that has been seeded and diced.
- Toss with your spoon to mix the tomatoes.
