Grilled Cheese Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slices of Bread
  • Butter
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Spices or Herbs of your choice (some good choices might be basil, cilantro)

Tools Needed:

  • Non Stick Frying Pan
  • Plate
  • Cheese Grater
  • Spatula

Cooking Instructions:

  • Butter one slice of each of your pieces of bread.  The butter will be easy to spread if it is at room temperature.

  • Put one piece of bread butter side down

  • Grate cheese using the large  holes of a box grater

  • Cover the whole surface of the bread with the cheese

  • Preheat your pan for 2 minutes on medium
  • Add your sandwich and cover for 2 minutes.

  • After 2 minutes, lift the sandwich with your spatula.  If it is golden brown, flip over.

  • After you flip, press down with your spatula.

  • Cover and wait 2 minutes.
  • You know your sandwich is finished when both sides are golden brown and you can see a little cheese ooze onto the pan.
