Fried Egg Recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- Butter or Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Spices of your choice (I might add chopped basil, oregano, and/or cilantro)
Tools Needed:
- Large frying pan
- Spatula
Cooking Instructions:
- Turn stove to medium heat. Coat your pan with butter or oil
- Crack Egg on a Flat Surface, slowly open egg onto the pan. Try not to separate yolk when cracking egg (if you want a runny yoke). If you do not want a runny yoke, break the yoke with your spatula.
- Optional: Add salt, pepper and other spices. Note: A little often goes a long way!
- You are ready to flip when the egg whites on the outside to become solid. It is OK for the egg whites in the middle to be raw.
- To flip, tilt the pan and stick your spatula under the egg. Wiggle the egg onto the spatula
- Cook for 60 seconds after flipping
- After 60 seconds, your egg is cooked! You may put the egg on your plate.
