French Toast With Caramelized Banana and Peanut Butter
Ingredients:
- 2 Slices of Bread (better if a little stale)
- 1/4 Cup of milk, light cream, or half-and-half
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 dash of Vanilla Extract (optional)
- 1 dash of Cinnamon
- 1 Banana
- Peanut Butter
- Maple-Flavor Syrup
Tools Needed:
- Shallow dish
- Fork
- Large frying pan
- Spatula
- Plate
- Knife
Cooking Instructions:
- Slice the Banana
- Melt Butter In Pan
- Fry the Bananas over Medium Heat. Cook on both sides until they are golden brown and caramelized
- Remove the caramelized bananas from the pan to a plate
- Spread Peanut Butter on one side of the bread.
- Put Banana on top of peanut butter
- Place second slice of bread on top of bananas
- Crack 2 eggs in your shallow dish. Add a splash of milk, a dash of vanilla extract and a dash of cinnamon.
- Use a fork to beat the egg (brake the yoke so the liquid is a yellow color.
- Dip sandwich on one side for 3o seconds
- Use a fork to flip the sandwich so the other side gets dipped in the egg mixture. Soak for about 30 seconds.
- Melt more butter in a pan
- Cook Sandwich on medium heat 2-3 minutes until bottom is golden brown.
- Flip French toast and cook another 2-3 minutes
- Remove sandwich from pan and place on plate.
- Cut in half, drizzle with syrup and enjoy!
