Homemade Egg McMuffin

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (1/2 ounce; 15g), softened, divided
  • 1 English muffin, split
  • 1 slice high-quality Canadian bacon
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 large egg
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 slice American, cheddar, Swiss, or jack cheese

Tools Needed:

  • Large frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Egg Rings (Optional)

Cooking Instructions:

  • Toast English Muffin In Toaster
  • Fry Your Egg.  Note: The video uses egg rings. If you do not have an egg ring, you can fry your egg in a pan. Click Here to see how to fry an egg 
  • Take English Muffin out of Toaster
  • Lightly Butter English Muffin on Both Sides
  • After the egg is cooked, Cook Canadian Bacon by heating it in the pan on medium heat with a little olive oil.  Cook 1 min on both sides
  • Put Cheese on English Muffin
  • Put Egg on top of Cheese
  • Put Canadian Bacon on top of Egg
  • Place on Plate and Enjoy!
