Things that you will need to get ready for this activity.
At this activity, there should be at least 4 samples of each of the different types of wood. It might be helpful to have the wood in 5 different containers, labeled with the names of the types of wood. The wood samples could either be borrowed from a kindergarten kit in the building or borrowed from the warehouse.
Quick List for this activity –
- 4 pieces of each of the 5 samples of wood
- 5 containers with labels of the different kinds of wood – basswood, cedar, pine, particleboard, plywood
