Assignment #5: Paint Tree & Vector Swirls

Using Adobe Illustrator, create a sample of the Paint Tree Logo & Vector Swirl. Try to render your objects to the best of your ability using the following tutorials. You are being graded on effort only at this point of the class.

Reflection; For this project we had to a Paint Tree logo by putting the text together and make a tree with the pen tool. Second we were supposed to make a swirl with the swirl tool then make a vine with the pen tool.

First I made a Paint Tree logo but mine was a Hear tree. First I made the heart word with the type tool had I selected and typed the tree part. Then I made the stem of the tree and the leaves with the pen tool. Second I made all different colors swirls (Two of them had gradient.) Used the pen tool to make half of a vine, copied and pasted it, then added it to the other side, and added a green gradient. Since I did the swirls and the vine a different color I put the swirls on a separate layer and put below the vine layer to that when I added the swirls it was under the vine. Once I added the swirls I erased the end of swirls.

I had a lot of fun with this project because it was quick and I’m getting better with AI.
