Scavenger Hunt

Assignment #3: Photo Scavenger Hunt – 50 pts

Students will take several photos around the school or at home using the Scavenger Hunt Guide to find 12 different types of shots. Once the original photos are taken, they will be uploaded to iPhoto and saved to their files1 account. After saving to files1, the original photos will then be manipulated in iPhoto where students will adjust their photos using “exposure, contrast, saturation, definition, highlights, shadows, sharpness, de-noise, temperature and tint” tools in iPhoto. When original and edited copies of the 12 types of shots are complete they will then be uploaded to the students WordPress ePortfolio for grading

Reflection; For this project we had to do  photo scavenger hunt by taking different photos off a list and then add a filter. What I did was I went straight down the list with the photos. For the still life I made it look like the trash can was reading my math book, for the landscape I took a picture of the front of the school went no cars were passing, for my portrait  I asked Mr Salmond if i could take his picture, for my nature study I took a picture of the light in the trees, for the reflection I got myself in the playground mirror, for the fragment i saw a pretty leaf and took its picture, for the abstraction i saw the painting in the stairway that looked like a face, for the pattern i was upstairs and saw the floor pattern, for the texture I saw the texture on the stairs, for the light and shadow Else was standing and i saw her cool shadow and took a photo, for the low point of view i was laying on the floor and saw Divina and for the atypical point of view i flipped my camera and made it seem like Else was falling. Sorry that the originals were sideways, i had no idea till i uploaded them. I also added 2 extras that i though looked amazing and wanted to share them with you! This project was fun, I liked adding filters and playing with that. Sorry it took me a long time though, my computer wouldn’t cooperate so it took awhile. Other than that I enjoyed it!
