The main characters are Percy, Annabeth, Zoe, Binicia and Grover. The setting is Washington DC.

The whole gang needs to stop Luke from taking the world.

Percy Anabeth and Grover have found two half-bloods. They need to defeat Luke before winter Solstice or else Anabeth dies.

Cirque du Freake: A Living Nightmare by Darren Shan

Darren Shan is a normal boy with a normal family and a normal life. That is until he goes to the Cirque Du Freak with his best friend, Steven Leonard. They experience the creepiest things they have ever seen. A wolf man, a snake boy, a man with two bellies and even a performing spider. One of the performers that he observes is really a vampire. Darren Shan will have the most unbelievable adventure when he makes the mistake of stealing the performing spider.

A high school girl went to a party, got a drink of coke that was laced with LSD. The book is the girl’s diary, her story about her life on drugs. It is very intense and a true story.

The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton

Ponyboy is an orphaned greaser living with his brothers Darry and Sodapop in a small town ruled by quite unruly kids. When his friend Jonny kills a rival gang member, he and Ponyboy are forced to flee from town for Ponyboy knows he’ll be taken away from his brothers if he gets in trouble.

My Cup Runneth Over by Cherry Whytock

This book has a lot of suspense, detail and cliff-hangers. The setting is at school and Amelia is with all of her friends. I really liked this book.
