Wanted by Caroline Cooney

I think that Wanted is a good book.  I would recommend it to anyone over the age of five.  Alice’s dad was murdered and she confesses to the murder and now everyone is after her, including the real murderer.  Alice’s own mother thinks that she is guilty.

Pet Semetary by Stephen King

A chilling tale of a father’s decision to revive his lost son. After an accident a 2 year oldd boy is killed and his father buries him.  What happens next is a spoiler and so I won’t give it away.

Midnight Terror by R. L. Stine

The characters are John, Ciarra, Zac and Kaitlyn.  The setting is the old Miller’s place on 4th Street.  The plot and conflict is ‘how to get out alive’.  The story line is they get scared to go to the house, they get stuck and they never get out.

The Doom Stone by Paul Zindel

Jackson visits his aunt in England and discovers that there is a prehistoric monster wreaking havoc. He and a newly made friend get to the bottom of why its here, and make plans to rid it from the earth. One near miss after another the duo just barely escape the clutches of the creature.

The main character is Alice. Alice recieves a phone call from her dad saying to drive the car to the place where they get milkshakes. Alice goes there and her dad isn’t there. Then while Alice is driving back she hears on the radio that she is being framed for the murder of her father.

Duma Key by Stephen King

A man loses his right arm in a horrible accident. To ward off his severe depression he moves into an old home on an island off the coast of Florida. Once there, he picks up painting and learns that his paintings have strange powers, but it is the who or what creating these powers is the true danger, the true evil.
