The Face on the Milk Carton by Caroline Cooney

The main character is Janie Johnson, she believes that her ‘parents’ kidnapped her because at lunch she sees a missing child picture on her school’s milk carton. The girl looks exactly like Janie. After school Janie finds a box in her basement with the same dress as the girl on the milk carton.

Hakeem is a very smart kid that has to move to Detroit because his Dad got sick. Savon is a very angry boy who does not care about anyone. Hakeem’s Dad was very mad that he got cancer. Uncle James does not listen to what Savon needs to say.

Wanted by Caroline Cooney

I think that Wanted is a good book.  I would recommend it to anyone over the age of five.  Alice’s dad was murdered and she confesses to the murder and now everyone is after her, including the real murderer.  Alice’s own mother thinks that she is guilty.
