The main character is Xing Xing. Xing Xing lives with her stepmother and sister. They treat her like a slave. Both of her parents died. It’s sad and very good, like a Cinderella story.

The way the author describes the characters make them seem believable. I love how the author uses real place setting. THe characters all have different personalities.

Harry Potter Three by J. K. Rowling

This book is much better than the movie. A new character Sirius Black changes Harry’s whole life. To me, this book had some comedy. It was my favorite out of the series.

Chosen by P. C. Cast

This book is the second of the Marked Series. This book starts with Zoey becoming leader of the dark daughter and high priestess in training. Her Mark has spread from her face to her shoulders and back and she has an affinity for all five elements. I love this book because it is a page turner and everything is unexpected. The good guys become bad ones and the bad show they can be good. A tragic loss happens. (I cried). THen teenage football players start disappearing around the house of night and they are Zoey’s old friends. So she must know the secret why all the deaths look like vampire attacks.
