Earlier this month, the Oregon Department of Education announced that students with Modified or Extended Diplomas are now eligible to receive Federal Financial Aid. That’s right! You can apply for Federal Financial Aid to attend Lane Community College or other trade schools on the FAFSA form! This is huge and will open doors for your future. Ask your advocate to help you with the FAFSA form!
Mark Your Planner! The Mix It Up assembly will take place from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13th in the Transition Building. The Mix It Up assembly will feature free pizza, guest speakers, fun games and more prizes. More information will be coming in the weeks ahead. All I can tell you right now is that it will be electrifying!
Great news! The Connections Moving On Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 10 at the Campbell Community Center. Moving On is a very special Ceremony where we celebrate teh triumphs of those students who are aging out of Connections. Please mark you planner and plan on attending. The Campbell Community Center is located at 155 High Street (Take Bus 1 from Bay J at Eugene Station). Keep in mind, Moving On Ceremony is not the end of the school year. There will be more Spring Term after the Moving On Ceremony. Connections will end on June 17!
