Connections students have the opportunity to volunteer at the Eugene area Habitat for Humanity Restore two days a week. A Connections staff member is on site to provide support as needed.
What our students learn while volunteering at the Restore:
- How to stock shelves accurately
- How to maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- How to greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- How to direct customers to the right department
- How to answer customers questions about the store, or find someone who can
- How to follow written / oral instructions accurately
- How to be flexible and assist in other store functions as requested
- How to follow all ReStore policies and procedures
