The Connections classes begin at 10:00am on Monday. Depending on the schedule you created with your case manager you may be arriving on a different day or time. Staff will be available at the bus station and in the lobby to help direct students to their classes.
10 Lunches will be provided on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Connections building at 2120 Bailey Hill Rd Eugene, OR 97403 while 4 lunches are provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays at LCC Downtown 101 W 10th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401. You may also pack a lunch or purchase food if you prefer.

The turn out for the informational sessions was great and it was so nice to meet the new students and some returning ones!
Connections staff member Heather Williams 541 954-3162 will be at the downtown bus station to meet students and show them how to ride the bus to the Connections building. Meet under the clock tower at 10:15am. They will be taking the 36 bus (bay M) at 10:30am. Please do your best to be on time.
Orientation will take place at 2120 Bailey Hill Rd. and will be a mix of learning about Connections, eating food together and getting to know each other. A brief outline of orientation activities is below:

We hope everyone had a relaxing and productive summer! We look forward to helping you work towards creating and meeting your goals as young adults. Letters will be sent out to students and their families on Monday August 29th and below is the information you will receive.
Student Orientation will be 11:00am to 2:00pm on Monday 9/12 and Tuesday 9/13 at 2120 Bailey Hill Rd, Eugene OR 97403. All students are encouraged to attend. Please provide your own transportation and contact us with specific dietary needs. Individual scheduling meetings will be held over the next three days. Seminars begin on Monday September 19th.

Welcome to Connections 2022-2023 school year! Connections is one of the transition services offered through the 4J Transition Program. Our goal is to help students with the transition from High School to independent living. High school graduates with a modified diploma or a GED, and who have received Special Education Services are eligible for this program. Zach Griffith, Anders Pettersson and Jasmin Quitta will be your Connections supporting teachers.
Connections is a full or part time individualized program designed to support students between the ages of 18-21 in developing and reaching their goals as they move into adulthood. The Connections curriculum focuses on promoting the skills needed to be successful in vocational, educational, independent living and social settings. As part of our program, we can provide assistance in accessing community services which students may be eligible for. Instruction takes place in several locations within the community, depending on student need. Students may take part in small group seminars, vocational work crews and/or individual advocate sessions designed to support each student’s goals.

We will be celebrating our graduates and retirees this Friday 6/10/22 starting at 10:00am. Classes will not take place as scheduled but there will be an opportunity to walk with the hiking class in the afternoon.
