Hello Everyone,

Four items of note for this week:

• Computer Imaging Project – I mentioned this at YG’s staff meeting last week, but both school staffs should let me know any changes you would like to be made to the current laptop computer images in the next few weeks. Our new TSSs will be creating updated images for us soon and will be re-imaging our computers before the end of the school year. Let me know if there are any new links you want added to the web browsers, additional applications, changes to the dock, or any other changes, additions or upgrades within the next few weeks.
• Earthquake Fire Drill, Wednesday– Please note there will be an earthquake and fire drill on Wednesday, April 20th at 8:45. I’ll plan to get on the intercom and announce the earthquake drill. If it’s raining, I’ll wait for a break in the weather and do it later in the day.
• Helping Parents of Bullied Students – When bullying happens, parents often look to schools for support. In a recent ASCD Express article, experts Allan Beane and Michelle Law offer tips teachers can share with parents to help keep their kids safe while an incidence of bullying is being investigated.
• JUST FOR FUN – School Children Entertained/Terrified by Life-Like Dinosaur Puppet – I want this assembly presentation to come to our school! It’s a video of someone in a giant T-Rex suit making shockingly life-like movements, which leads to a mixture of delight and pants-wetting terror!

Have a great week everyone!
