Hello Everyone,

Four items of note for this week:

• Classified Employee Appreciation Week – Monday, March 7th to Friday, March 11th marks the celebration of Classified Employees Appreciation Week. Our schools are lucky to have such an outstanding group of classified staff members. Our schools simply could not function without your hard work and dedication to our programs. All of your hard work certainly does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciations by everyone. Thank you, all!
• Building Use Meeting Cancelled – The March Building Use Meeting is scheduled for this week. Unless anyone has any items that need to be discussed, I’m planning to cancel the meeting. Please let me know if you do have items that need to be put onto this or a future agenda.
• Solar Education Opportunity – AmeriCorps volunteers are working this school year at the Outdoor Alternative High School in 4J. They are now teaching lessons in the Eugene area based around solar education, and want to know if teachers are interested in having them come guest speak in your classroom. They will come with a prepared lesson on solar education, and it will be for one class period. Please e-mail Leah Cantor (leah.cantor@gmail.com) if you are interested in this.
• Ten Great Sources of Free Teacher Resources – If you have time, there are some pretty nice resources here. You get everything from “NASA for Educators” to “TeAch-nology.com”, these are certainly some sites worth checking out.

Two weeks until Spring Break!
