Five items of note for this week:
• Year End Check Lists – Attached is the year end checklist of items that must be completed by teachers before you leave for the summer. If you need any boxes for when you begin clearing off shelves and counters, let Crystal know and she can provide you with some. Let me know if you have any questions and return completed forms to Crystal’s mailbox.
• Staff Summer Mix CD – If you’d like to know your fellow staff members tastes in music or impose your tastes on others, send me a song title and artist to add to the “Staff Summer Mix CD”. The deadline to add your song to the mix is this Friday. If you submit a song, I’ll burn you a Staff Mix CD for your summer listening enjoyment! Just think of a song that makes you think of summertime or is good for listening to on a sunny day. BLOG ONLY ADDENDUM – If you turn on your iTunes at school, I’ll share the Staff Summer Mix Playlist on our network and you can get a preview.
• Fire Drill – Please note our final Fire Drill of the year will be Tuesday at 9:30.
• Grading Day – It is the school district’s expectation that teachers will report to school on grading days. Working from home on report cards is not allowed. Sorry. : (
• Math Instaprint Orders – Print order forms are now here for the new math curriculum. The order forms are for the first nine weeks on the program. It is my assumption that teachers, for this first order, will want complete sets of all the materials, so my plan is to have Diane and Joanne order complete sets of all math print materials for each classroom. When it’s time to do the next print order, teachers will have a better idea of which parts you need and which you do not. Unless you tell us different, we will proceed with placing orders for everyone.
