Eugene’s Normal Daily Maximum Temperature,
1961-1990
Students use the Temperatures data set in their handouts to create a data set to show Normal Average Daily Temperatures in Eugene. The challenge is for students to figure out their category/column headers on their own, and make a line graph like the example in the handouts. Use the charts options in MS Excel to generate a Line Graph chart based on the data in the handout. Students must show data value by using the “labels” option from their “Toolbox”.
The line chart below shows The normal temperature in Eugene Oregon.
The line chart above shows that it is hottest in august and coldest in December.
