Since World War I superheroes have existed. They were created to make people feel like there was someone out there protecting them. Te first superhero ever invented was Super Man, and he was introduced in a volume of DC Action Comics. Since then thousands of superheroes have been invented. Many comicbook studios have also been created, however nowadays two companies reign supreme. Marvel, and DC. I believe Marvel’s cinematic universe is much better than DC’s cinematic universe, and heres why.
First off, Marvel has better heroes, and their movies re fun because of these heroes. Characters like Star-Lord, Iron Man, and Spider-Man all have a humorous side, as well as a serious side. This makes the film more interesting to watch, most DC characters are one sided. Characters such as Bat-Man and superman only have one part to their personalities. Bat-Man is always portrayed as being dark, and brooding, while Superman is always depicted as a person who can do no wrong.
DC also doesn’t have as much of a story, as Marvel movies do. As soon as Marvels first MCU movie hit (Iron Man) in all of the other solo movies they have been hunting down Infinity stones. In movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, Avengers. They all have something to do with each other. however the first films DC made, the Superman/Bat-Man movies had nothing to do with each other. Even now DC threw in 3 movies with a new universe and expected to be as successful as Marvel. The movies they made are Man of steel, Bat-Man V Superman, Wonder Woman, and most recently Justice League all of which were okay at best. However all marvel movies, are incredible, except for the occasional okay movie, such as Iron Man 2.
Marvel movies also have a more humorous side to them, making them more entertaining. DC movies have a very serious side, however it is hard to tae them seriously. With writing such as Bat-Man and Superman’s parents having the same, therefore saving superman’s death, it is humorous when it is as stupid as that, but its no meant to be funny. However in marvel movies they put in humor on purpose, instead of it just happening to be funny when it isn’t supposed to be. For all of the reasons above and more I believe Marvel movies are better than DC movies are.
