6/14: All day camp at Shotgun Creek as a group, where we will hike and do outdoor activities. (Food and drinks will be provided.)

We will meet at 10:00am at the Connections building and ride the activity van to Shotgun Creek, staying there until 04:00pm at the latest. Please let Anders and Heather know if you want to attend.

(Reminder: Please wear appropriate hiking clothes and shoes)

Shotgun Creek Day Trip!! 

When:  Wednesday, June 14th ,10:00 a.m.   

Where:  Meet at the Connections Building, 

2120 Bailey Hill Rd.

***The Activity Vans Will Begin Loading Immediately ***

 

***We Will Leave The Connections Building By 10:30 ***

 

***Games/ Activities/ Meals/ Snacks Will Be Provided !!!***

We are excited to end the school year in a light & fun way by going day camping at the Shotgun Creek Recreation Site!  We will meet at the usual time, 10:00 a.m. at the Connections Building.  There will be 2 activity vans that will transport students, staff, and gear to and from Shotgun Creek.  We are planning for a little longer day so we can enjoy nature, hike, play games, bbq and have a nice lunch while out there.  

The Activity Vans will return to the Connections Building by 4:30 p.m. 

Please make arrangements to get picked up at that time

Or, plan on taking the LTD bus home 

What To Bring:

• Jacket/ Rain Gear Or / Hat & Sunscreen (Depending On Weather)

• Water Bottle

• Warm Pants, Extra Shirt,Sweatshirt (for layering), Extra socks

• Walking Shoes, For Hiking And/Or Playing Games In The Grass Field

 

What Not To Bring:

• Do Not Bring Items Of Value Or Money 

• Do Not Bring Technology Beyond Your Phone
•  
• Do Not Bring/ Wear Flip Flops

6/9: Social Picnic 10am-12pm, at Maurice Jacobs Park with food and drinks together with CLP and Bethel transition programs. We’ll meet at the Connections building at 10am and ride the activity van to the park.

We’ll ride activity van (leaving the building at 10:15),   or make individual plan. 

COST: $10.00 (talk to your advocate if you have difficulty paying this). 

12:30-1:ish  Drive back to Connections.

1:00-1:45 ….Jasmin bon voyage party: gifts, cake, speeches, 

1:45-ish. Wrap up for Hiking Class- today we’ll be going to play disc-golf  at Westmoreland Park.  

2:40 End of day, go back to Connections building (or leave from the park).
