The Transition Times

It’s amazing how quickly the Fall moves towards Winter.  Halloween and the time change are behind us and now Veterans day and Thanksgiving are right around the corner.  Please mark your calendar about no school this coming Thursday and Friday and then again Thursday and Friday 11/25 and 26.  There is a possibility that there will also be no school Wednesday 11/24, but that will be decided 11/17 by the school board.

Please take this extra time off to enjoy your friends, family, hobbies and to continue to learn.

The leaves are changing, the air is getting colder and the rain is more frequent as we move further into Autumn.  The Connections schedule is also changing since we will have this coming Friday and Monday off of school giving you a 4 day weekend!

We also wanted to remind you to be prepared when coming to school by:

• assessing your health to ensure that you are not bringing a sickness to school
• being well rested
• dressing for the weather
• bringing any food your need for the day
• bring something to write with, some paper and a way to organize hand outs
• having a good attitude!
