Human Interest
Description-Students review the concept of the Human Interest writing style; what constitutes a human interest story. Students pick 3 possible topics to write about, post them on their ePortfolio for review with the teacher. Students pick on topic that they are interested in writing about, then do the necessary research, reference their sources, use the idea map to generate an outline, then write a 400 word draft for peer review. Final copies are posted to their ePortfolios
Reflection-I have been to Texas three times so when I thought of ideas one of them was Texas. Texas is a really interesting state and I had fun writing about it.
