5 Tips and Tricks
Description-Create a page on your ePortfolio titled Fusion 360 Intro (kid to parent 3D Design) Make a numbered list of the 5 Tips introduced in the video.
Tip 1.) Z up – Z is up and down Y is sideways, you will want to change the setting, it will be easier.
Tip 2.) Selecting objects – selecting objects through other objects, will help so you don’t have to move the camera around a ton.
Tip 3.) The difference between the sketch environment and the model environment – sketch= drawing things in 2D (flat picture), model= bringing the sketches into 3D.
Tip 4.) Constraints – Some lines and points may not behave like they should and that is because of constraints, adding or removing them can make a big difference.
Tip 5.) Use of the inner section tool – Very useful to put details on a curved surface.
Reflection- This video was very helpful and the guy talking is really good at teaching people how to use the tools. I understand all of the things he told use about and I am glad we watched this so we can learn more about fusion 360.
