3D Boat
Description-Students will follow the step by step 123d Design Tutorial Basics Exercise 2(using headphones) to gain more thorough tool use and application. Students may consult each other in small groups while completing this tutorial exercise. Students will export their finished boat and oars as one or two .stl files and put the in the printer queue for printing. Screen shots (at least 2 perspectives) will be included in their ePortfolio assignment page, along with 2 pictures of the printed piece. Estimated time to completion – 2-3 class sessions.
Reflection- Making the boat was not that hard. There was not that many steps so it was easy to follow along and since I have made a few things I know the tools a little more. I feel like I did really good on the boat. The oars were harder because I had to make them with a video but I think they turned out pretty well.
