Research Projects
Description – Students pick a topic of their choice – preferably one they are passionate about, and can find enough supporting facts, evidence through research with online library resources and other web resources, research their topic and take notes using Easybib online note and citation software. Students use MS Word to learn basic report formatting, learn how to make proper citations for a bibliography using Easybib and MS Word, and write an introductory paragraph. (Extra credit is given for writing 2 additional paragraphs to complete a mini-report). Standard report formatting per specifications taught and modeled in class. These guidelines are used throughout classes at Cal Young and into high school.
Reflection- The first thing we did was make a bibliography on easy bib. The next thing did was write a 3 paragraph paper. After that we had to make a blog post. I thought this assignment was fun because we had to type. I love typing I think it is fun.
