Weekly Update: This week I accomplished a couple of my weekly goals, but not all of them. On Tuesday I go all the advertisers and where we stand with them figured out, and we called a couple of possible companies. On Wednesday, we had a meeting with Mr. Schiff, and we got a lot of things straightened out, it was very productive. On Thursday, we got a check in and sent out a thank you letter to a different company who sent in their check. I didn’t organize the binder, but I really didn’t see it as top priority so it’s okay. Today we are just calling a few more possible advertisers. It was a productive week and very fun.

Weekly Goals:

Tuesday- Today I would like to go over what we talked about in our meeting and start thinking of ideas for theme, Hall Of Fame, and interview ideas. Also we will be calling back potential advertisers and get organized on where we stand with certain advertisers.

Wednesday- I hope to have people to fax information to. If not we will continue calling people.

Thursday- I hope to organize our binder, and also hopefully hear back from a few places and get a few ads in to organize.

Friday- By today hopefully the computer will be updated so that I can start on my pages in the yearbook. Also hopefully I will have some ideas for hall of fame/ theme to turn in.

Weekly Update: This week in Yearbook I have been very productive getting a lot of work done. Mostly I have done advertising work with my team and that has taken up the majority of my time. We have 7 advertisers so far, and we only need one more to reach the minimum. However, we hope to get many more than the minimum. I have also gotten some homework done when I am not doing advertising work. I look forward to the rest of this year in this class and a fun filled weekend.

Weekly Update: This week in Yearbook we did a lot. I helped Paityn and Keira with taking portraits for the people who didn’t have Yearbook photos by Lifetouch. Also the advertising team and I have been calling back all the people on our list who haven’t gotten back to us. Also we have had a meeting today about the pages for the yearbook. I am really enjoying this class and am glad to be getting so much done.

Weekly Update: This week in Yearbook I did some advertising work, because we have started calling people back that we needed to follow up with. Also we have a new member of our advertising team, and his name is Chase. Also we have had a couple of meetings and i have done homework in my extra time. Another thing that I have been doing this week is, helping Paityn and Keira with taking portrait photos of people who don’t have Lifetouch photos. It was a very good week and I am looking forward to the weekend because I am going to the coast.

Weekly Update: There has been a lot of progress made in the last four weeks for me in Yearbook. First of all we got two companies payments and ads for the yearbook advertising page. We also plan on calling some people back to remind them Another thing we finished for advertising is, faxing companies that haven’t agreed yet more information on the ads, and mailed thank you letters to those who did send in their payment and ad. Also, Carly and I have been working on checking portraits and finished the first round of doing this. A couple weeks ago we met Ana Black, who will be our new Lifetouch person. She seems very perfessional and is very kind. I feel that I have gotten a lot done and been very productive in this class. I am excited to continue in here the rest of the year.

Weekly Update: This week Carson, Abby, and I worked really hard on follow up for Advertising. I have been writing about more info on the advertisements businesses will send by fax. On Monday we filled out the latter of pages and what will be on them. We are making great progress and hopefully by next week we will have faxed the businesses. Have a nice long weekend.

Weekly Update: This week I was only at school on Monday and Tuesday so I did not do that much. What I did do though was work on calling just a few more companies for advertising. Next week we will work on follow up with people that are “on the fence” or committed and need more information. I hope that we are able to get a lot more advertisers! Hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving.

Weekly Update: This week in Yearbook Abby and I worked very hard on Advertising. Every class period this week we called a  lot of businesses. We so far we have three people who want to advertise. Advertising is a lot of work and we have searched for more and more companies as we have gone. This is a very awesome job and it makes this class very fun.

Weekly Update: This week in Yearbook I worked really hard on advertising stuff. On Monday I was going to start calling businesses, but had to update the documents on phone numbers. I finished that mostly yesterday and will truly finish it today. I hope to start calling businesses for real on Monday. I am enjoying having work to do in this class.
