Weekly Update #10

Published by under Tech Lit

Weekly Update: This week in tech Lit we started our iMove. For Tuesday and Wednesday I was looking for pictures and coming up with my idea of telling the story of how to make Dump Cake. Yesterday, Thursday, I actually started in iMovie, even though all I did was put the pictures in order and make certian that they were fit to the screen correctly. Today I will be continuing in iMove putting in text and transitions. I hope to be done by next Tuesday! I am really excited that it is the end of the year and we only have about 10 days of school left.

Weekly Update #5

Published by under Tech Lit

Weekly Update: This week in tech lit I finished the extra credit database, and worked in photoshop telling a story through a photo. The story is that a huge tsunami travels all the way to a horse field with a horse and Sydney in it. There is also a banana dolphin cowboy wrangling the horses with a police car on it’s tail. This week I really enjoyed the flexibility and creativity aspect.

Weekly Update #3

Published by under Tech Lit

Weekly Update: This week in Tech Lit we worked in Excel making databases. The first database we made was about the birthdays of some of our classmates. The second was on the amount of earthquakes above 7.0 magnitude in the Western states in the last 100 years. The one I am currently working on is one about how I would spend 1,000 dollars. For all of these we made the simplest version in Excel then copied and pasted the final representations into word and formatted the final product there. I have really enjoyed Tech Lit so far.

Weekly Update #2

Published by under Tech Lit

Weekly update: This week in Tech Lit we worked on getting our research papers done. Early on in the week we continued taking the notes that we had startd on Friday in Easybib. While taking these notes we were also to start our bibliography.  All we had to do to accomplish this was copy the url of the website and then Easybib and it puts it into the correct format for you. After getting all of our notes we printed them out and began to write. By Thursday I was having my paper on Australian Labradoodles peer edited . Today I printed it out and got it on my blog, and I plan on turning in the paper copies of everything on Monday. This week went very well in my opinion.
