iMovie: How to make Dump Cake
Description: Students learn the basics of iMovie video production and editing program to tell a story using still images. Students pick a topic of interest to them, use a minimum of 12-15 images from the web in the right size and format, to tell a “story” in exactly 30 seconds. Finished compositions must include a title and credits screen, transitions, labeling where necessary, and music.

Reflection: This assignment was fun and different than anything we have done so far. This made it a bit of a challenge, but the final product makes it worth it. Before you got to even start in iMovie you had to figure out what topic you were going to do and if you would be able to find pictures to tell that story. The topic I originally chose was how to make lemon cake, but then changed it to Dump Cake. Then you had to find 12-15 pics to tell the story. Once you had those you put them in iMovie in the correct order. Then I downloaded the music and put it in. Then I added text, and made sure it was perfect… and it was pretty good. I had a lot of fun with this.
