The goods on this book: Frostbite is the second book in the Vampire Academy series. It focuses around Rose Hathaway, her best friend Lissa, and a few other characters. Rose has to guard Lissa, because she’s her guardian, or will be, because they have a psychic bond.
They all seem safe, but life starts getting crazy once a royal family is killed by evil vampires called Strigoi. The guardians fight to find out how the did it, and while they do that, everyone from St. Vlad’s is sent to a skiing place that has heavy wards which keeps Strigoi out. Rose, while still fighting her attraction to her mentor Dimitri, meets Adrian Ivashkov, who you later find out has the magic Spirit, which Lissa has.
It’s filled with love triangles, epic battles, and you should really check it out.
