Just two items of note for this week.
• Practicum Student – See the attached email if you would like to host a UO education student looking for 30 hours of classroom practicum experience. Please contact her directly if you are interested.
• Star Talk Radio Podcast – This one really isn’t “of note” but for those of you who listen to podcasts and/or those of you who love science, you should really listen to Star Talk Radio. It’s a podcast that is hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson and a comedian co-host, where they discuss a wide variety of scientific topics. What I love about this show is how deGrasse Tyson’s unbridled enthusiasm for science really comes through and after listening to him you cannot help but get excited about the study of science.
