Three items of note for this week:
• District Spring Testing – Details were in last week’s announcements, but remember that classroom teachers need to complete district Spring testing by May 29th. Teachers grades 2-5 are in charge of giving the two online Math Tests (Calculations and Applications) and the Reading Tests (Comprehension and Vocabulary for grades 3-5). 1st grade must give the paper/pencil math test. Let me know if you have any questions.
• Dancing With The Stars – Upstart Crow Studios, a local non-profit dance studio, is planning their 3rd annual Dancing With The Stars Benefit for October 17th, which our very own Mike Odle participated in last year. If you are interested in being one of the “Stars” and getting some free dance lessons, there is a flyer in each school’s staff room.
• 4J English/Language Arts PD Survey – If you haven’t already, be sure to complete the ELA survey by May 29th.
