Five items of note for this week:
• easyCBM Benchmark Testing Deadline – The deadline to complete Fall Benchmark testing is approaching. All scores must be entered not later than Wednesday, October 6th. If you are not entering the scores yourself, Ruby Bauer will enter scores for YG and Jonathan Humphreys will enter them for Corridor. They will need to have the scores to be entered no later than this Wednesday, September 29th. Please let me know if you have any questions.
• 2010 Revision to the 4J Emergency Procedure Manuals & Safety Week – The new rainbow colored manuals have a black binding, which allows a quick way to see if you have the new one or old one. All prior years had a white binding. Prior manuals should be recycled. Be sure to hang the manuals in a spot where they can be easily located. And please see the Zimbra calendar or prior announcements for the times and dates of the various drills we will practice this week. One note of interest, if you’ve looked at your new manual, I just notice Risk Management has changed “Directed Response” to “Directed Relocation”.
• CLC Staff Update – Michael Larsen has been in the SPED Teacher Education program at the UO and will be taking this year off to fulfill his practicum requirements. This leaves a vacancy in the CLC and his position should be posted later this week. ESS is assigning a temporary employee until the position is filled.
• Learn 360 Pass Key Codes – If you’re unfamiliar with Learn 360, it’s an online educational video and multimedia site with thousands of videos for all grades and subject areas. Below are the Learn360 Pass Key codes for each school. If you’re already registered you don’t need to do anything, but if you need to register, follow the links below to set up an account. Instructions for accessing the site are at http://www.4j.lane.edu/tilt/onlinesubscriptions. Also below is a link to set up student accounts if you want to create one for your class.
