Hi Everyone,
This week will mark one of the two remaining full weeks of classes. The last three weeks are all four day week for either holidays, grading days, or school being out. Four items of note for this week:
• Spring easyCBM Testing – All Spring easyCBM scores must be give to Michael or Ruby by this Friday if you’d like them to enter your scores. After this Friday, you will be responsible for entering all of your own scores by Friday, May 28th. Please let me know if you have any questions.
• 2010-2011 Calendar Changes – The School Board approved a revision to the 2010-11 school year instructional calendar. The first day back to work for teachers will be Tuesday, August 31, 2010 NOT Monday, August 30th. Classified employees will not be furloughed. OSEA chose to cover their members’ cost of furlough from insurance reserve funds. Attached is an updated calendar and also the classified holiday calendar.
• OAKS Window Closes Wednesday – The OAKS testing window closes this Wednesday, May 19th.
• Fire Drill – Please note there will be a fire drill at 1:00 on Tuesday. This will be our second to last drill of the school year.
