Howdy Everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed your extra hour of sleep this weekend. Falling Back is much nicer than Springing Forward.

Four items of note for this week:

• Data Warehouse Parent Reports – Parent reports in the Data Warehouse are now available (except for 2nd grade math) with both with this Fall’s easyCBM scores and percentiles and last year’s OAKS scores for upper elementary. These particular reports are most useful for upper elementary as they contain both OAKS and easyCBM data on one page. Instructions for printing can be found under For Staff, Data Warehouse at http://www.4j.lane.edu/cis/parentsstudentreport
• Hazardous Weather Conditions InformationAttached is this year’s hazardous weather conditions information. Generally speaking, if there is a no school day for students, only lead custodians, secretaries, and administrators report to work. Let me know if you have any questions.
• Paternity Leave Next Week – I’m planning to take my paternity leave starting next week (Nov. 9th) for two weeks. Carolynn Hopkins will be in to cover for me during this time, although I do plan to come in for IIPM and Staff Meetings. I’ll still be in email or phone contact if you need anything during that time.
• BLOG ONLY LINK: PBS Teacher Website – Maybe you’ve already seen this, but it bears repeating. The Public Broadcasting System-sponsored website offers thousands of local and national standards-based lesson plans, multimedia resources, and activities. It includes monthly professional development webinars and blogs focused on technology in the classroom. Check it out at http://www.pbs.org/teachers

Have a great week, everyone!
