Hello Everyone,

Gracie is now pretty much back to normal. No more fever and her cough and congestion are not nearly as scary. Her appetite is still not back to normal (she’s eating about half as much formula as before), but other than that, she seems to be doing well. Boy, this parenting thing is way more stressful than I ever expected!

Four items of note for this week:

• Learn 360 Pass Key Codes – Below are the Learn360 2009-10 Pass Key codes for each school. Instructions for accessing site are here http://www.4j.lane.edu/tilt/onlinesubscriptions Please let Marvin or myself know if you have any questions.

• Healthy Inspirations Video Contest – Learntobehealthy.org and the Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center are inviting K-12 students around the country to participate in the “Healthy Inspirations” video contest. Students may work as individuals or as a team to create a 1-3 minute video relating to the contest theme. See here for details: http://www.teachertube.com/healthyinspirations/
• easyCBM Feedback Email – An email is coming soon regarding easyCBM feedback. Instructions will be included in the email about what and how to provide information about our benchmarking process. The purpose is to illicit feedback and based on the feedback make some potential improvements prior to our next round of benchmark assessments.
• Paternity Leave Postponed – I’m going to postpone my paternity leave by at least a week. With the changes to student pick-up/drop-off starting this week and with YG voting in a new PTO Board this Wednesday, I want to be at school a bit longer to make sure everything goes smoothly. My plan is to take my leave the week of conferences and possibly the following week.

Have a good week, everyone!
