Who would like this book? Guys and girls ages 14+ who like vampire stories mixed in with religious themes (angels, Lucifer, God, heaven, that stuff). Also people who like fashion.

The goods on the book: Revelations is the third book in the Blue Bloods series that follows friends Schuyler, Bliss, Oliver, Jack, MiMi, and Dylan, who are all vampires. The problems they face, such as forbidden love and controlling themselves against each other and weird voices in their heads, make this book interesting and exciting. Though the book is sort of slow, the ending offers a cliffhanger that will make you want to read more. Jack is in love with Schuyler, but he’s bonded with his angel twin Azrael (MiMi). If he breaks the bond, he will be in an everlasting coma, just like Schuyler’s mom Allegra who broke her bond. Bliss is blacking out and seeing a strange man in a white suite who is as bright as the sun. And while all this is happening, vampires who feed on other vampires called Silverbloods are in hiding, and are planning on attacking. It’s chaos and stress and love and sadness, and will make you want to read the entire series.

Who would like this book? Females and males ages 14+ who enjoy vampire novels and fashion.

The Goods on the Book: Blue Bloods is a fabulous tale with vampires, love, and fashion. It centers around Shuyler Van Alen, a girl with a missing father and a mother in an unusual coma. She attends Duchesne, a school for the important and well-born families in Manhattan. It is revealed that Shuyler and other students are blue bloods, or vampires, who were cast out of heaven in past lives with Lucifer, however they want to get back to paradise, so they act good. The story is sort of like the Twilight series, except they feed on humans. But all the garlic and sunlight and crosses don’t have effects on them.
But they don’t kill humans, that would be the Silver Bloods, a rumor or legend type of vampire which feeds off of humans and blue bloods. But no one will believe Shuyler after she is attacked by one. She also falls in love with Jack Force, who is destined to be with his sister.
A romantic and dark tale with fashion and fame, and of course blood sucking demons who want to be good. A good read and a good series.

Who would like this book? I think this book would interest anyone who has read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. This book is targeting mostly teen, or young adult woman. However, anyone who likes action and romance would like this book. Also, if you like well written books, this book is for you.

Who would like this book? I think this book tends to catch the interest of teen girls; however, adult women would also have a great time reading this series. I also think that whoever has read Twilight and New Moon absolutely NEEDS to read this great sequel. Overall, I think this book is angled more towards girls.

Why? This book is a sequel to New Moon, so before reading this wonderful book you must also read Twilight and New Moon. This book starts after Edward comes back from his time away from Bella. To understand why he went away, you must read New Moon. However, if you’re reading this you probably HAVE read those books, so on with a summary. In Twilight, the Cullens fight James, a vampire that is tracking Bella for one of his sick games. His mate’s name is Victoria, and if you thought James was dangerous, you should see Victoria in Eclipse, as she tries to avenge his death. While there is a lot of intense fighting in Eclipse, there is also lots of romance. In New Moon, Edward asked Bella to marry him. I wouldn’t call it proposing, he didn’t have a ring or anything, but she said “No.” Why? Read it. In Eclipse, with his mother’s ring, he gets down on one knee and asks once again. Will she say “Yes”? Read it to find out! More to come!

Who would like this book? I think that this book mainly attracts teen girls buy also some adult women.

Why? After a long and wonderful summer, Edward and his family leave Forks so that he can distance himself from Bella. Then, Bella goes through depression and tris a lot of reckless things, some with the mysterious Quinault boy, Jacob Black. Through this book she goes through a rollercoaster of emotions but in the end, well, read that for yourself!!! More to come!

Who would like this book? I think this book has attracted mostly teen girls and adults who like vampires, action, and romance. Overall, this book would attract mostly young female adults.

Why? After Bella’s mom and dad got divorced, her mom took her out of the rainy town of Forks, WA and brought her to the always sunny big city of Phoenix, Arizona. After many years, Bella’s mom re-married to a baseball player by the name of Phil. As a teenager Bella moves in with her dad in Forks. At school, she sees a gorgeous well, not a man, not a boy, but a Vampire. She does not know what she’s getting into, but as soon as she’s in, she can’t get out. After falling head over heals for this, little does she know, Vampire. She finds out that he thirsts for her blood. Will they fall in love, or will she become his next meal?

The Immortal Rules: A Legend Begins by Julie Kagawa

Review by Kyleigh

Who would like this book? People how like vampires (though not Twilight vampires), with action and adventure.

Why?

The book is about a girl named Aillie and her fight. Aillie lives in a vampire city because that is all that is left. Vampire cities are the only thing left because there was a sickness called Red Lung that killed almost all of the humans. Now the vampires have almost all the humans left on the planet stuck in the vampire cities. Aillie and her group of friends are scavengers in the city, and one day Aillie sneaks out of the city into the ruins of the old world. The old world is where the rabids live. Inside every vampire is some of the red lung and sometimes a vampire will make a new rabid, not a new vampire. She finds food, but she needs to get back now so she leaves the food. The next day she tells her group about the food and they go to get the food but the rabids come out of hiding and go after her friends. Sadly, the rabids get and kill her friends and they go after her, they attack her and she is about to die when a vampire comes out and kills the rabids. Then he gives her a choice to die or become one of them. Her need to survive kicks in, and she chooses to be one of them. When she wakes up she is in a strange room in strange clothes with a strange man in the room. Her training begins and soon she is almost ready to go off on her own when Aillie and her master Kainin are discovered and have to leave their find-out. Kainin and Aillie get separated, and Aillie has to go into the wild unknown world by herself. What do you think of the book so far? Well, it gets better! So read the book to know what happens next. I think people should read this book if they like vampires or not.

Who would like this book? Any ages would enjoy this book.

Why? Twilight is mainly about Bella Swan, who moves from Phoenix Arizona, to Forks Washington and meets a boy who is not what he seems, and she falls in love with him. Over time Bella falls more and more in love with Edward, not realizing he is dangerous. By putting herself in his life, her life takes a terrifying and thrilling turn. Everyone thinks Edward Cullen and his family are too perfect to be normal, and they’re right: he’s far from normal. I love the suspense and romance of this book, and the author describes the settings perfectly. If you like suspense, mystery, and romance, this is a good book for you.
