dreamReview by Grace N.

Who would like this book? Everyone who read The Raven Boys needs this book. It’s an amazing sequel!!!!! It’s as good as the first, perhaps even better.

The goods on this book: Ronan Lynch can take things from his dreams. Also his father. But he’s dead. Adam is Cabeswater’s hands and eyes. But even Adam doesn’t know what that means, especially when Cabeswater dissappears. Gansey’s mother is running for Congress, while he still searches for Glendower in the now missing Cabeswater. Blue is NOT in love with Gansey. Or Adam. And Noah’s a ghost. The Dream Thieves is SUCH a good book. I just couldn’t stop reading it, and I’m sure that anybody who reads the sequel to The Raven Boys will, too. It just has nonstop excitement.

Who would like this book? I think that anybody would enjoy this book, and I would definitely suggest it to any of my friends. It has action, magic, and romance.

The goods on this book: Blue is a psychic’s daughter, but she isn’t a psychic. So she shouldn’t see a spirit on that night, when the dead-to-be walk past the old church. Especially a raven boy. Unless she killed him or… he’s her true love. Blue Sargent gets tied into Gansey and his three friends’ search for a long lost Welsh king, all the while wondering whether Gansey is her true love who she might kill with a single kiss.

ironReview by Grace N.

Who would like this book? I think that anybody would/could read this book, but teens would enjoy it most. Anybody who likes fiction.

The goods on this book: I thought The Iron King was a great book. It takes place in a modern-day town and the faery world. The main character is Meghan Chase, whose father is actually a faery king. She turns 16 soon, but she doesn’t expect much. Suddenly, her brother Ethan gets taken by faeries and replaced with a changeling. She sets out to rescue Ethan with the infamous Robin Goodfellow and picks up a few other characters along the way, like a cold ice prince and disappearing cat. Together they try to defeat the mysterious new fey bent on destroying the fey world, and rescue her brother. The Iron King is full of action, romance, twists and turns. As I said, it’s an awesome book, and you won’t be able to put it down till you’ve finished it. It reminds me of 13 Secrets but with some romance.

starReview by Anne H.

Who would like this book? This is a book for those who like the supernatural.

The goods on this book: Rory (short for Aurora) is a fairly normal girl from Louisiana who has just moved to a Britain boarding school. Her daily activities consist of going to seven classes with an hour of field hockey, talking to her best friend and roommate Jazz, snogging Jerome, and — oh yeah — seeing the dead. After Rory’s brush with death, she can suddenly see people that no one else can. Next thing she knows, one of the people that no one else can see is right next to a murder and she’s a witness. She thinks the police will think she is crazy until she finds out her new roommate Boo is a cop that is from a special branch of the government assigned to the supernatural, or should I say ghosts. The copy-cat Jack the Ripper killer is a ghost, and it’s up to them to stop him. But remember this: ” THE NAME OF THE STAR IS WHAT YOU FEAR.”

Unhinged (Splintered Book 2) by A.G Howard

unhingedReview by Annalea H.

Who would like this book? Everyone! I would suggest this book to anyone and everyone if I could; it’s just that good! This is the second book to Splintered (Read that one first, please!) and it is a wonderland parody, so it’s kinda creepy. Okay, so maybe it’s not everyone, but it is for people who like action, romance, and an absolutely crazy ending that will have you begging for more! This book may be for older people, but I would still suggest it to everyone.

The goods on this book: Unhinged is the second book to Splintered and is a wonderland parody, a creepy wonderland parody (But what wonderland parody isn’t?). It circles around a girl named Alyssa, who is the grandest of granddaughters to Alice Liddell, the first wonderland girl. After winding through wonderland, saving her boyfriend Jeb, and rescuing her mother from the asylum, she is now in high school. Everything is going as it should except Jeb is meeting with beautiful women, and Alyssa is scared that he might not be in his business for the art (Jeb lives in London and sells his art). It seems Morpheus is back and is in wonderland trouble, and wonderland is decaying! And is Alyssa’s mother hiding something? Find out in this second book of the Splintered books!

Radiance by Alyson Noel

radianceReview by Makena B.

Who would like this book? I think anybody would like this book, but probably kids around 9-15 would enjoy it most.

The goods on this book: In the book Radiance by Alyson Noel, Riley goes through this incredible adventure called the afterlife. You get to see what Alyson Noel thinks would happen when someone dies. When Riley first gets there she doesn’t have the best time: it’s a new school, new people, I mean it’s a whole new life! She has a hard time picking up the way of things over there. She isn’t used to everybody reading her thoughts all the time. Everybody that lives there has their own job that they have to do. Riley is assigned to be a soul catcher, and she doesn’t realize how much work a soul catcher has to do. This a a great book to read if you don’t know what to read. I love how this book puts you on an adventure of what the afterlife might really be like.

Bloodrose (Nightshade Book 3) by Andrea Cremer

bloodReview by Mazzy N.

Who would like this book? People who are into wolves and fiction would really like this book, and maybe people who like a little romance. Females would like this better than males but I think it could be either. I would think that people who are older then 12 would understand it better than younger people.

The goods on this book: Shay, the scion, has to collect the pieces to the elemental cross, but he can’t do it without his friends. When collecting the pieces, they lose more then they thought: friends, family, and belongings. Calla doesn’t know if she can handle Shay and Ren during their journey, so she makes a deal. In the end, who will she chose? Calla has to go through heartbreak, betrayal, and defeat. How more can she take? They are able to banish the Keepers, but the Guardians have to give up something just to keep others safe. Will they take the consequence or will they make others suffer? Find out in Bloodrose. I love this series; it is probably my favorite and I can’t wait until the next book, Snakeroot. Also make sure you read the first two books, Nightshade and Bloodrose, before the third one. I enjoyed this book, and I hope you do too.

tigerWho would like this book? Girls, definitely girls, 13 years and up who are looking for a lush, long fantasy romance would like this book.

The goods on this book: Kelsey, 17, lives with her health-counscious foster family in Portland, Oregon, because her parents were killed in a car accident. Kelsey’s strong connection to Ren in his tiger form continues to grow as she discovers that her part in releasing the curse is significant. Will she and Ren be able to break the curse? I thought that this book had a fascinating premise but needed a better editor.
