Description-Students use the Temperatures data set in their handouts to create a data set to show Normal Average Daily Temperatures in Eugene. The challenge is for students to figure out their category/column headers on their own, and make a line graph like the example in the handouts. Use the charts options in MS Excel to generate a Line Graph chart based on the data in the handout. Students must show data value by using the “labels” option from their “Toolbox”.
Reflection-I had to copy down the temperatures on my paper onto a graph. Then I turned it into a line graph. I put it on a word document, and posted it. I had to use excel and word to make this. I saw that there were actually different kinds of line graphs. t’was cool.
