Description-Students learn how to make a Public Service Announcement using only pictures, no video footage. After lecture and multiple examples of student work, students brainstormed to pick topics for their PSAs. Students must develop the PSA with detailed documentation as follows, from start to finish. Content will be researched using a variety of proven sources, and images will be collected from various online and offline sources as well.
Reflection-It was so cool to make my own PSA. I was a bit sad at how much I had to edit for my final cut, but I think it was worth it. I had to use word, for my elevator speech, script, and edit cut. Then I used safari to get my images, and music. I used iMovie to put it all together. I think it ended up well, it was fun to do this.
